Companies

In Propcart, Companies are optional and mainly used as a way for grouping productions.

Sometimes a Company is the production company, and other times it can be the "parent company" or studio backing the production, such as Netflix, Warner Bros. or Universal Studios.

Relationships​

A Company relates to other records as follows:

  • has no parents
  • has many child Productions

Companies are not directly related to Orders, Invoices, or Payments.

Company Inheritance​

Productions can inherit billing information from their parent Company.

Use this when the production company negotiates a multi-production deal with you and will have the same paperwork and billing info on all productions.
