HTML Section
This section adds your own HTML to a page, for layouts that Markdown can't create.
It's the only place on a page where HTML works. Everywhere else, HTML shows as typed.
When to Use
Try a Markdown Section first. Markdown is easier to edit, and it can embed maps, videos and PDFs. See Embedding maps, videos and PDFs.
Use an HTML section when you need HTML that Markdown can't write, like a layout of images and text side by side.
Data Structure
Position
Where the section appears in the order of all page sections.
Class
The class name of the section element for styling purposes.
HTML
The HTML for the section, added to the page as written. <script> tags aren't supported.
Styles (CSS)
CSS for the section. These styles apply to the whole page, so start each selector with the section's class, like .our-team img { ... }, to style only this section.
Preview
The Dashboard previews your HTML in a separate frame that doesn't run scripts. Maps and video players that need scripts show blank in the preview, but they work on your webstore after you publish.
