Propcart API

Propcart's API lets you pull your own account data out of Propcart programmatically, so you can use it in other tools and systems — without a person manually exporting a CSV from the Dashboard every time.

This is a developer-facing feature. If you're not building the integration yourself, forward these pages to whoever is (an in-house developer, an agency or freelancer).

This is not a REST API. Propcart doesn't have one, and we're not building one anytime soon.

These articles are limited to our RPC API endpoints for exporting the same data you can export from the Dashboard — in JSON or CSV format.

Why this is useful​

A few examples of what you can use it for:

  • Business intelligence / reporting tools — pull your line items, orders, and invoices into a BI tool (like Looker Studio or Power BI) to build dashboards that combine Propcart data with data from other systems.
  • Accounting reconciliation — pull orders, invoices, and deposits into your own scripts for reconciliation beyond what the built-in invoicing exports cover.
  • Custom internal tools — build a lightweight internal tool (a warehouse scanning app, a custom reporting page, a Slack bot) that reads live inventory or line item data.
  • Data warehousing — sync your Propcart data into your own database or data warehouse on a schedule.

The API is currently read-only. You can pull data out of Propcart, but you can't create, update, or delete records through it yet. If you need write access for a specific use case, let us know.

How it's different from the AI Agent Integration​

If you've seen the AI Agent Integration, that's a different feature: it lets an automated tool sign into the Dashboard itself and click around as a dedicated admin user. This API is for pulling data directly, without a Dashboard session at all.
